About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from OzTechShed (TODO: ABN — add before launch, TODO: business address — add before launch). By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, that is an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send the order confirmation email. Until then, we may decline an order — for example if an item is unavailable, if a price was listed incorrectly, or if we suspect fraud or abuse. If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we refund it in full.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices include GST where applicable — TODO: confirm GST registration status. Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your card details. We may change prices at any time, but a change does not affect an order we have already accepted.

Availability and made-to-order items

Most items are printed or assembled to order, so availability is not guaranteed until an order is accepted. Made-to-order items show an estimated lead time in business days on the product page. Lead times are estimates: a printer breakdown, a delayed filament delivery or a courier issue can push them out. If a delay is significant we will contact you, and you can cancel the affected item for a full refund.

Shipping, risk and title

Dispatch times and delivery estimates are set out in our Shipping and Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we receive payment in full.

Returns and refunds

Our Shipping and Refunds policy explains change of mind returns, damaged goods and the consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photographs, product designs, 3D models and logos — is owned by us or used with permission. Digital files and designs are not sold unless a listing explicitly says so. Physical items are sold for personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, resell or distribute our designs, or use them commercially, without written permission.

If you send us content such as photos, messages or feedback, you keep ownership of it and grant us permission to use it for the purpose of responding to you and, where you agree, featuring it on the site.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape or bulk-download the site, interfere with its operation or security, use it for anything unlawful, or place orders for items that are prohibited by law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits or loss of data. Where our liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the price you paid for the goods or the cost of replacing them. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, warranty or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order governs that order, and the date at the top of this page shows when the terms last changed.
